Overture is a drama-comedy dealing with themes of sex, boundaries and bravado in young Australians. Set around a dinner table, this character driven story follows a runaway conversation that asks our characters and audience some honest questions: what is a relationship, what is friendship and what is prejudice?

Rob was responsible for the sound design and final mix for the film

Overture was completed in January 2011 and won the Bronze Palm Award at the 2012 Mexico International Film Festival.
